The Department of Technology and Education (DIT) offers a variety of professional training programs, including full-time and part-time courses in engineering and the applied sciences. According to the NACTVET competency-based modular training system, the school also provides Ordinary Diploma, Bachelor of Engineering, and Master of Engineering programs in Maintenance Management, Computational Science and Engineering, Sustainable Energy Engineering, and Technology in Computing and Communication. Sections 2.0 through 8.0 of the rule known as the Admission Regulations contain information on admission requirements, conditions for admission, transfer and resumption procedures, and other pertinent admission-related matters. The paper’s Section 1.0 provides background information.
The departments, centers, DIT campuses, library services (LS), and quality assurance (QA) offices collaborate closely with the admissions office. The department makes sure that every student’s academic activities at DIT run well. Serving the DIT main campus, Mwanza Campus, and Myunga Campus, the admission office is located in the Deputy Principal Academic, Research, and Consultancy (DPARC) office, which reports to the Institute’s Registrar.
Prospective students are encouraged to consult the annual entrance guidebooks for NACTVET’s program at www.NACTVET.go.tz and TCU’s undergraduate and diploma programs at www.tcu.go.tz for more details.
